Peak FC Philosophy
At Peak FC, our objective is to empower Four Corners communities and changing lives through sport. Our focus is to create an inclusive environment that inspires, motivates, and encourages our players’ goals and ambitions. Additionally, we strive to have a strong connection with the community and represent them well through various league and tournament play. The four pillars of Peak FC are enabling a growth mindset, displaying respect, demonstrating integrity, and sharing dignity and grace.
We have a growth mindset – Our coach/player development is a part of the foundation of what we represent as a club. We encourage our coaches to further develop their coaching education to utilize as a tool for their athletes. Additionally, players will instill development in both their physical ability, as well as their character.
Displaying Respect – Players and staff members are representatives of Peak FC both on and off the field. Therefore, demonstrating respect, beginning with our leaders, will be held to the upmost standard.
Demonstrating Integrity – Our players will demonstrate integrity in all areas of their development. Examples of this include helping with and maintaining equipment that belongs to the club, lifting other players through positive reinforcement and feedback, and leading the community by setting an example for others to follow.
Sharing Dignity and Grace – Understanding that in competition, there is a winning and losing side, members of Peak FC will share grace in victory and dignity in defeat. Knowing that there is no such thing as linear development when it comes to youth sports, players will understand that in times of defeat, it will always be treated as a learning curve.
Peak FC offers an opportunity for young athletes to make soccer their preeminent sport that helps them develop character, competitiveness, technical ability, and inspires a lifelong passion for soccer.
